Applying for a Place: Applications are made on-line as instructed by the Local Authority. Parents who wish special circumstances, siblings living apart or church attendance to be taken into consideration when applying for a place should also request and complete the school’s supplementary forms, which are obtained directly from the school. The closing date for returning these supplementary forms to the school will be the same as for the return of the Local Authority’s common application form. Letters informing parents of whether or not their child has been allocated a place will be sent out by the Local Authority by the April of the year of admission.

Parents wishing to apply for a place at East Crompton St James’ can arrange a visit at any time. Where a place is availablein any year group, the Executive Headteacher will approve the admission.
In the EYFS and KS1, schoos are unable to admit children above the pAN (published admission number) of 30 children. Parents have the right to appeal if the school is unable to offer a place due to being over-subscribed.
