We have completed the ‘Our Important People’ activity in Year 1 for Children’s Mental Health Week. We read the book ‘The Invisible String’ and the children discussed who their invisible strings of love are connected to – family, friends, pets, people who are in heaven. We reflected on how we feel when we are with our loved ones and the different ways we show them love. The talked about how our invisible strings of love help when we are away from the special people in our lives.
