During Spring term, Year Two have been working on their geography skills at Forest School. Making links to the national curriculum, we have been learning about and using maps of our Forest School area and looking at the points of a compass, North, East, South and West. During our first session we had a map delivered to our Forest School classroom, we used this map to find the hidden treasure! We then created our own maps of the area and used the tea bag technique to age them. In our following sessions we will be using our maps to take each other on treasure hunts around Forest School.
